How this list is built
- Each nation scores the number of its place in the final classification (1st = 1 point, 2nd = 2, 3rd/4th = 3, 5th = 5, and so on; no participation 25, no-show 50). Only the last five editions count and ties are broken by the previous editions — fewer points is better.
