Athens 2026 recap
The LONGONI NEXT GEN Grand Prix 3-Cushion U21 2026 was held in Athens from 1 to 3 May 2026, at Koralli B.C. in Agia Paraskevi. The event was organized by BilliardToday together with the Confédération Européenne de Billard, and it gave young three-cushion players a complete international competition environment: live scoring, timetable, qualification groups, a final knockout round, rankings and a large photo gallery from the venue.

This was more than a local tournament. It was a European youth event with players from several countries, built around the CEB youth format and connected to the LONGONI NEXT GEN series. For BilliardToday, it was also an important proof of how a tournament can be organized, followed and archived from one public page.
A youth event with a European field
The field brought together U21 players from Spain, Germany, France, Sweden, Belgium, the Netherlands, Turkey, Italy and Greece. That mix gave the event a clear international character while keeping the atmosphere close to the players and families who travelled to Athens.
The tournament page kept the main information in one place: participants, timetable, live match data, final standings, ranking points and the photo gallery. Readers can still open the full event page here: LONGONI NEXT GEN Grand Prix 3-Cushion U21 2026.

Final standings highlights
The top eight were MORALES Marcos, GARCIA Toni, IBRAIMOV Amir, ZOTOV Arturo, DURIEZ Tangui, MARTINEZ Bruno, SVENSSON Mio and BOLLANSEE Toon.
The final round included 15 knockout matches. The semifinals were won by Morales against Ibraimov, 35-31 in 22 innings, and Garcia against Zotov, 35-16 in 25 innings. Earlier, the qualification stage produced 42 matches and decided the players who moved into the final bracket.
Why this event mattered for BilliardToday
This tournament showed the kind of event experience we want clubs and federations to have. The public page was not just a poster. It became the live home of the tournament: players, stages, matches, final ranking, photos and links stayed connected after the last match.
For young players, that matters. Their results remain easy to find. Their player pages can connect back to the event. Photos and rankings give families, clubs and federations something they can share after the tournament has finished.
Photos from Athens
The event has a large gallery with 125 photos. A selection is included below, and the full gallery remains available on the tournament page.
